My Artistic Process
Art is not just about what you see, but what you make others feel. When I work on a commission, I don't just copy a photo. I try to capture the spirit of the person, whether it's a beloved family member or a tribute to a cultural legend.
What I offer:
- Graphite Portraits: These are perfect for that classic, timeless black-and-white look. I use professional-grade HB to 8B pencils on acid-free paper to ensure deep shading and detail that lasts.
- Charcoal & Stone Art: My signature style. Using hand-crushed charcoal powder and white stone powder, I create high-contrast, dramatic portraits that feel powerful and raw. These come on heavy-grain A3 paper and include a short making-of video clip for your socials.
- Acrylic Canvas: If you want something bold and vibrant for your wall, I paint on 18x24 inch primed cotton canvas. These are waterproof and UV-protected, making them perfect for public spaces or feature walls.
Delivery and Care
I know these pieces are often gifts or memorials, so I take care of the details. All sketches are coated with professional fixatives to prevent smudging. Portraits are carefully packed flat between rigid boards or in hard PVC tubes to ensure they reach you anywhere in India in perfect condition. If you need a frame, just let me know, and I will arrange it so your art is ready to hang the moment it arrives.
