Bowling Coaching: Build Speed, Spin & Accuracy
Stop guessing where the ball will land. Whether you are a fast bowler looking for extra yards or a spinner mastering the googly, we refine your action, rhythm, and release points to ensure consistency under pressure.
Here we are working on spot bowling. I challenge the bowlers to be as accurate as possible and hit their targets without bowling no-balls. This drill is crucial for building pressure on the batsman.
An off-spinner practicing spot bowling in the nets. The goal is to land the ball on a specific point consistently, which is the key to controlling the game.
We are working on an off-spinner's action, specifically the jump and turn. The goal is to prevent the back foot from going too far in, which helps maintain a side-on position and generate more turn.
Let's bowl some googlies. Here, one of our leg-spinners is practicing his variations, working on deceiving the batsman with a well-disguised googly.
A spin wizard at work. This leg-spinner is honing his craft, focusing on his rhythm and release to get maximum turn and drift.
A left-arm orthodox spinner in action. We work on using the crease and varying the pace to create different angles and challenge the batsman.
Our very own Jadeja. This young left-arm spinner is practicing his spot bowling, aiming for consistency and accuracy with every delivery.
Making progress, not excuses. This bowler is working hard on his action and follow-through, building the strength and technique needed for consistent performance.
I am working with a young bowler on his action. We focus on small technical corrections, like keeping the arm straight, to build a strong and repeatable bowling motion. One breakthrough at a time.
Focused, fierce, and fearless. Young bowler Gia is putting in the hard yards, working on her bowling action. Every repetition and every correction is a step towards becoming a better bowler.
About Bowling Clinic: Pace, Spin & Accuracy
The difference between a good bowler and a great one is usually found in the load-up. Many bowlers lose pace or accuracy because their back foot collapses or their front arm falls away too early. In our sessions, we strip your action down to the basics. We look at your alignment, your jump, and your follow-through to identify the micro-leaks in your technique. It is about building a repeatable action that delivers results every single time you run into the crease.
Bowling is a science of rhythm and repetition. At Centurions, we don't just ask you to hit the stumps; we build the body mechanics required to do it consistently.
Our Technical Focus
- Action Correction: We use video analysis to break down your delivery stride. We fix issues like 'front arm collapse' or 'head tilt' to ensure you are balanced at the point of release.
- Spot Bowling: This is our core drill. We place cones on a 'good length' or a specific target spot on the turf. You don't get to move on until you hit that mark consistently. It builds the discipline needed to dominate a batsman.
- Variations: Once your stock ball is accurate, we layer in the extras. For spinners, we work on the drift and the subtle changes in grip for the googly. For pacers, we teach the seam position for outswingers and inswingers that hold their line.
- Fitness for Bowlers: As a certified Sports Fitness Trainer, I integrate agility drills with resistance bands. You can't bowl fast if your core isn't stable or your legs aren't explosive.
Whether you are training at our Kurla academy or the Andheri grounds, the focus remains the same: small adjustments for big results. We don't believe in overnight miracles. We believe in showing up, doing the drills, and getting 1% better every session.
