Daily Cricket Practice and Training Montages
You don’t get better just by playing matches. You get better by putting in the hours. Here is a look at the daily grind at our nets.
A montage of sweat, passion, and cricket dreams. This is what our academy is all about, every single day.
Different actions, one passion. This edit showcases the variety of bowlers we have, from pacers to spinners, each telling their own story.
Bowling isn't just about speed, it's about precision and fire. This montage captures the intensity and grit of our bowlers.
The sound of the bat hitting the ball is music to our ears. This edit, set to a beat, captures the rhythm and power of batting.
Fall down, get up, and keep moving. This clip captures the essence of our philosophy: every setback is a setup for a comeback.
Process is everything. A short clip reminding us that success is built on a foundation of consistent, daily effort.
A helmet-cam POV gives you a taste of what it's like to be a batsman in our nets. It's fast, intense, and a great training tool.
A player middling the ball with a "middler" bat, a tool we use to sharpen focus and timing.
Turning setbacks into successes. This motivational clip shows a player picking himself up and going again.
Elegance in every stroke. A montage of our batsmen playing with style and technical correctness.
About Additional Sessions & Montages
It’s not always pretty, and it’s definitely not always easy. We film these sessions to show what actual progress looks like. The missed shots, the repeated drills, and the eventual click when a technique finally comes together. If you’re coming to my nets, expect to work hard, get sweaty, and review your own footage until your basics are locked in.
The Process Behind the Play
When you see these clips, you are seeing the reality of training at Centurions Cricket Academy. We don't believe in shortcuts. Whether you are at our Andheri or Sion facility, the goal remains the same: biomechanical efficiency and mental clarity.
Why We Film Everything
Video analysis is a core part of my coaching method. It is easy to feel like your stance is right, but your eyes can deceive you. We use handheld devices to record net sessions so you can see your own movements in real-time. We look at your head position, your backlift alignment, and your follow-through. When you see the gap between what you think you are doing and what you are actually doing, that is when the real improvement happens.
The Daily Grind
Cricket coaching is about repetition. We use props like deflection ramps for reflex training and sidearm throwers to simulate high-speed bowling. Our sessions cover:
- Batting Drills: T-cone exercises to master balance and forward defense.
- Bowling Correction: Spot bowling to refine your rhythm and prevent injury.
- Fitness Integration: 30-minute warm-ups that focus on agility and core strength.
If you want to train properly, you have to be willing to fall, get up, and do it again. This is where the foundation is built.
