About Women of Califit: Strength & Empowerment

Forget the fear of heavy lifting or bulky machines. Here, we teach you how to use your own body weight to get lean, strong, and flexible. Whether you want to master your first pull-up or hold a handstand, my training focuses on specific progressions that work for you, not just generic gym routines. You will see results through consistency, not fancy equipment.

At Califit, we are breaking the myth that calisthenics is only for men. My female athletes are some of the strongest people in our community, nailing pull-ups, rope climbs, and static holds every single day. We do not use treadmills or AC-cooled weight rooms. We train in the fresh air at our Kanjurmarg and Vikhroli parks using rigs, bars, and rings to build functional, athletic bodies.

Why it works for women

Most gym programs make you follow repetitive sets on machines. Here, we prioritize mobility and flexibility alongside strength. You will learn to control your body, which helps with posture, injury prevention, and everyday energy levels. We track your progress with real metrics like max pull-ups and hold times, so you always know you are getting better.

It is about support, not ego. You will train alongside other women who are also working hard to hit their personal bests. We have beginners starting with knee hangs and advanced athletes working on weighted pull-ups. My job as your coach is to provide the spotting and programming you need to progress safely.
