Why I Bake Healthy
I started making healthy bakes because I wanted desserts that fit my health goals but still tasted good. You don’t have to pick between eating right and loving what you eat! That’s honestly how this whole thing began.
What Goes In (and What Doesn’t)
I treat baking like pooja, so I’m strict about ingredients:
- No maida, only wholewheat flour (aata) and oats
- Sweetness from jaggery, dates, or desi khand - never refined sugar
- Everything is 100% eggless, baked fresh in my own kitchen
My Menu - Healthy, Not Boring
Some favourites:
- Wholewheat jaggery cake (Classic, Belgian chocolate, Panjiri fusion)
- Banana oats brownies - fudgy, no butter, no maida, topped with walnuts
- Sugar-free protein laddoos - dates, nuts, good after gym
- Cookies: wholewheat chocolate, date almond butter, homemade granola mixes
Will You Actually Like It?
People ask me, "pta ni taste kaisa hoga" (not sure about the taste). I get that! But most come back for more, surprised that healthy can be tasty. That’s what I want - you forget they’re healthy.

Hi, I’m Kajal – baking out of my Pitampura kitchen, with my little one often by my side. We even do a small puja for my oven on Vishwakarma Day, feels lucky! My cakes aren’t just desserts, they’re edible art, and I get super excited about new flavours. That Japanese strawberry shortcake? My absolute fav, melts in your mouth.
