About Dance Classes
What We’re About
Since 2009, we’ve been making space for people to discover themselves through dance. For us, it’s not about impressing anyone - dance is for expressing who you are. You’ll find people here from all walks of life, from four-year-olds to grown-ups, total beginners to folks who pretty much live for dance.
Who Joins Us
- Kids, teens, and adults, all welcome
- No experience? Doesn’t matter. We love seeing first-timers
- Already got some moves? There’s room to grow, refine, and push yourself
Styles We Teach
- Bharatanatyam and Kathak if you want Indian classical dance lessons. You’ll pick up storytelling, abhinaya (expression), and the basics of discipline
- Hip hop dance for beginners and those wanting to bust out trending moves
- Contemporary dance classes and freestyle - no rigid steps, just you and the music
- Choreography sessions for stage presence and creative flair
How We Guide
Our gurus are strict about technique but also real about keeping it safe. We warm up, build muscle memory, and make sure you don’t wreck your knees or ankles.
Beyond Just Classes
- Student dance showcase twice a year - we call it Jalsa (big celebration)
- Rangapravesham for seniors - your first solo stage moment, pretty special
- Natya events with guest artists so you see what’s possible
- Dance diploma course options with uni affiliation, for anyone aiming for formal recognition or a dance career
- Studios that don’t feel like a classroom - mirrors, pro flooring, our own performance hall (Rangamandira)

My Story
We’re Butterfly Talent Academy, BTA if you want it short. Been here in Banaswadi since 2009, watching kids go from shy to stage stars. We call ourselves Butterfly because, honestly, talent needs space to grow, right? We started out wanting a spot where you could learn Bharatanatyam and then jam on a guitar, all in one day. Our big thing? 'Jalsa'—every student gets their moment on stage. Feels more like family than an academy.
My Work
Classes for All Kinds of Talent - We teach Hindustani vocal, Western guitar lessons, violin, drums, Bharatanatyam for beginners, Kathak, painting, pottery, taekwondo, and chess.
Global Certification - You can earn a Trinity College music certification with us—makes your skills official, looks great for future plans.
From Basics to Stage - Doesn’t matter if you’re new or skilled, we guide you from first steps to kids stage performance Bangalore.
Perform, Don’t Just Learn - We push for stage time. With our events, like 'Jalsa', students get used to the spotlight and build real confidence.
