Beginner Swimming Lessons: Learn to Swim in 30 Days
Scared of the deep end? We start from scratch. Our 30-day program is designed to build your water confidence, fixing your breathing and kicking technique before you ever try a full stroke.
Watch these beginners go. We start by teaching them how to kick at the side of the pool to get comfortable with the water and build basic strength.
Here, my students are using kickboards to practice their kicking across the pool. This drill helps them maintain a good body line and focus only on their leg movement.
A coach is always watching. Here you can see a group practicing with kickboards while I supervise and give instructions. Your form is my priority.
About Learning the Basics
The biggest hurdle for beginners isn't the water—it's the fear of losing balance. We don't rush you into the deep end. We start at the side of the pool, forcing you to focus entirely on your kick technique with a board. This builds the muscle memory you need to stay horizontal. By isolating your leg movement in our heated, semi-Olympic pool in Sector 48, you stop fighting the water and start working with it, which is the only way to swim efficiently.
The 30-Day Guarantee
I don't believe in dragging out 'learning to swim' for months. My program is designed to get you moving independently in 30 days. We start with the basics: flutter kicks and rhythmic breathing. If you don't master the kick, you won't master the stroke. It is simple math.
Why Indoor & Heated Matters
Swimming shouldn't be a seasonal activity that you stop when the weather turns. By training in a temperature-controlled indoor pool at GD Goenka, we ensure you don't skip classes because it's too cold or the air is chilly. Consistency is the only way to build actual skill.
The "Coach" Approach
I am an N.I.S. certified coach. I won't just watch from the sidelines. Expect me to be right there, shouting instructions like 'Seedha chalo!' and 'Head down karke!' until your form is solid. We use kickboards and pull buoys to ensure you are getting the technique right from day one. We also have a lady coach available, so if you are nervous or uncomfortable, you are in safe hands.
Who This Is For
This is for the adult who missed out on learning as a kid, the person who needs a low-impact cardio routine, or anyone who just wants to stop being scared of the water. We keep the batches small, so you get the attention you pay for.
