Featured Hand-Embroidered Bridal Designs
I’ve gathered these pieces to show you the variety of my craft, from heavy Zardosi wedding blouses to custom saree-to-lehenga transformations. Each outfit here tells a different story.
This is the essence of what I do: creating a timeless bridal look. This bride is wearing a custom-designed silk saree with a heavily hand-embroidered blouse, featuring intricate zardosi and beadwork that complements her traditional South Indian jewelry.
I love bringing symbolic designs to life, like the bird motifs on this classic red bridal blouse. This piece showcases detailed zardosi and French knot embroidery, a testament to the handwork that goes into every creation.
My bespoke silk saree lehengas are perfect for engagements and receptions. This video shows two distinct styles on display in my studio, one in a vibrant floral print with a pink blouse and another in a rich olive green with a contrasting embroidered navy blouse.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a client's joyous smile. This beautiful bride is celebrating in her custom-stitched Kanchipuram silk saree and a blouse with dense, multi-colored floral embroidery on the sleeves.
A closer look at one of my popular designs. This client is wearing a deep magenta silk saree paired with a blouse featuring a delicate check pattern created with fine beadwork, perfect for any festive occasion.
The back of the blouse is just as important as the front. This design features intricate embroidery that complements the bride's traditional South Indian floral hair arrangement, ensuring she looks stunning from every angle.
Creating matching outfits for mothers and daughters is a special joy. This heartwarming photo shows a mother in her custom saree and blouse, coordinated perfectly with her daughter's traditional pattu pavadai.
About this collection
I believe the best designs start with your fabric and your vision. When working on a heavy bridal blouse, I require 10 to 15 days to ensure the Zardosi, French knots, and beadwork are finished perfectly. We should discuss your specific jewellery and neckline needs early on, so I can ensure the embroidery highlights exactly what you want to show off.
My approach is simple: I never copy-paste. Whether you want classic red-and-gold, nature-inspired motifs, or something entirely new, I build the design around you.
The Art of Hand-Embroidery
For these featured pieces, I focus on traditional techniques like Aari work, Zardosi, and intricate French knots. These aren't just aesthetic choices; they are methods to ensure your outfit lasts and looks beautiful. When I work on a blouse, I look at the weight of your saree and the style of your jewellery to ensure the neckline and sleeve work don't clash but complement each other.
Custom Saree-to-Lehenga Transformations
Many of my clients come to me with a beautiful 5.5m silk saree that they rarely wear. I love the challenge of turning these into flared, can-can lined lehengas. It gives new life to your old favourites, perfect for engagements or receptions.
My Process
When you come to my studio in Yelahanka, we sit down to talk. I want to know about the event, your comfort level, and what makes you feel like yourself. If you are not sure about a design, we browse through thousands of my past patterns to find a spark.
I also extend this same care to kids' wear and pet outfits, ensuring soft cotton linings are used to keep things comfortable. Because at the end of the day, I want all my 'happy costumers' to feel as good as they look.
