I hand-paint hyper-realistic portraits using high-quality acrylics. From cherished family photos to tributes, I focus on capturing the fine details that bring your memories to life.

This is a detailed acrylic portrait titled 'Man In A Turban'. It took around 80 hours to complete on cold-pressed Brustro watercolour paper, focusing on the skin texture and the fabric folds of the turban.

Titled 'Innocence', this is a 12"x16" commissioned acrylic painting on canvas. I used a grid system to ensure proportions were perfect and focused on the soft features and bright eyes to capture the child's gentle nature.

This 12"x16" commission was painted with acrylics on a stretched canvas. The goal was to create a hyper-realistic portrait that felt authentic, paying close attention to the deep wrinkles and expressive features.

A tribute to Indian wrestler Ravi Dahiya, painted with acrylics on a 12"x16" stretched canvas. This portrait highlights my ability to capture intense focus and physical features, making it a great piece for sports enthusiasts.

My tribute painting of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. I used acrylics on paper to create this realistic portrait, capturing her iconic warm smile.

Remembering the beloved singer KK with this acrylic portrait. I focused on capturing the passion of his performance, from the expression on his face to the way he holds the microphone.

A vibrant acrylic portrait of the music icon Bappi Lahiri. I had fun painting the details, from his signature sunglasses to the gold chains, bringing his larger-than-life personality to the paper.

This is a throwback to a portrait I did in 2019. It's an acrylic painting on watercolour paper where I experimented with a monochrome blue palette to create a moody and intense atmosphere.

About Custom Portraits in Acrylic

When I paint your portrait, I use a grid system to map out exact proportions before adding any color, so you get an accurate likeness. You will receive regular updates throughout the painting process, from the initial sketch to the final protective varnish, so you are always in the loop.

Creating a hyper-realistic portrait is a labor-intensive process, often taking between 80 to 100 hours of layering to capture the nuance of skin texture, eye glints, and hair details. I work primarily on stretched cotton canvas or 300 GSM watercolor paper, utilizing high-quality acrylics to build depth and tone.

My process begins with a consultation to analyze your reference photo. We will discuss lighting and composition before I start. Once the concept is clear, I create the initial sketch using a grid system, which I share with you to ensure the proportions are perfect before I commit to paint.

Every finished portrait receives a professional varnish coat. This final step is crucial, as it seals the paint and protects the artwork from UV damage and dust, ensuring your piece remains vibrant for years.

I handle commissions for family portraits, pet portraits, and tributes. While I am based in Mumbai, I ship securely across India, ensuring every piece is bubble-wrapped with corner protectors so it arrives in gallery-ready condition.
