About Summer Camps & Weekly Programs
We partner with Kathalaya International Academy to build every program around a story, so your child is not just listening—they are participating in games, experiments, and art that bring the narrative to life. Our Jakkur studio is a shoe-free zone where kids move, explore, and learn through doing.
At Bond Over Bindings, our summer camps and weekly sessions are the opposite of a lecture. We believe that when a child's hands are busy, their mind is open. Whether it is a two-day weekend camp or our weekly 'Storyspace' meetings, every activity is designed to spark creativity, logic, and empathy.
How We Learn
Our programs are built on the 'learning by doing' philosophy. Instead of just reading about a concept, kids experience it:
- Story-Based STEM: We might read a tale about the water cycle and then immediately build a miniature filtration system or conduct a sink-float experiment.
- Hands-On Art: We use diverse mediums—from block printing and pottery to eco-friendly art—to let kids express what they heard in the story.
- Bilingual Engagement: We weave in Kannada and English seamlessly, helping children connect with regional folktales and global stories alike.
The Space
Our Jakkur studio is a cozy, open environment. It is designed to be a safe, familiar place where children can run around, get a little messy with paint or glue, and make friends. Parents often tell us that the best part is seeing their child come home with a tangible project—a painted canvas, a working toy car, or a handmade puppet—rather than just another worksheet.
Practical Details
Most of our camps are capped at 15 children to ensure every participant gets individual attention from our educators. We provide all the professional-grade materials, so you do not need to bring a thing. If you are new to BOB, start with one of our Friday 'Storyspace' sessions to see how your child interacts with our team and our style of play-based learning.
