Why Our Summer Camps are Different

We know that children learn best through experience. While many camps focus on passive activities or lecture-style instruction, we use provocations. These are curated setups designed to spark interest and encourage deep inquiry. Your child won't be sitting in a chair for hours; they will be moving, creating, and experimenting across our dedicated hub spaces.

What Your Child Will Experience

• Weekly Thematic Journeys: We rotate themes weekly. One week we might traverse the history of Ancient Egypt, and the next we might be diving into botany or space exploration. This keeps the engagement high and ensures that if you sign up for the full summer, your child gets a brand-new experience every Monday.
• Developmental Milestones: Beyond the fun, we structure our activities to target specific outcomes. Younger campers (ages 1-3) focus on sensory exploration to build neural connections and fine motor skills. Our older groups (ages 5-8) engage in complex problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking tasks.
• Community and Culture: We don't operate in a silo. Our camps are designed to be social. We integrate music, storytelling, and collaborative games into the schedule, ensuring that every child feels part of the Openhouse family from day one.

Locations and Logistics

We host these adventures across our centers in Bengaluru (including Indiranagar, Whitefield, Jayanagar, HSR Layout, and JP Nagar) and our hubs in Kolkata (Park Street and Salt Lake). Each camp session is led by our senior educators who are trained to facilitate play-based learning, not just supervise playtime. We provide all necessary supplies and safety equipment, so you just need to drop your child off and let them explore.
