We are not just building a team, we are building a tribe. From in-house tournaments to belt promotions, this is what our community at Reign MMA looks like.

A group photo from our third Reign In house tournament. These events are a fantastic showcase of the progress everyone is making, especially beginners who show incredible grit fueled by our ecological training methods.

It was great to have professional MMA fighter Connor drop in for some training while he was in Bengaluru. We are building a gym where fighters from around the world feel welcome to come and share the mats.

Celebrating my student Almeer's promotion to yellow belt. Recognizing progress and celebrating milestones is a key part of our team culture and keeps everyone motivated on their martial arts journey.

Posing with a student after a tough gi training session. I believe that we build strength through adversity and that our weaknesses, when confronted, become our greatest assets. This philosophy is at the heart of our team.

Congratulations to these students on earning their first stripe on their white belts. The journey in jiu jitsu is long, and every step of progress deserves to be acknowledged.

Promoting my first two colored belts, Jitendra and Long, to Blue Belt. I've worked hard to weed out selfish individuals and build a team founded on loyalty and a love for the game, and these two embody that spirit completely.

We take our training seriously, but we don't always take ourselves seriously. This is the culture I cultivate: a team that works hard but also knows how to have fun. We focus on building skills, not just being a robot that drills.

About this collection

You won't find ego here, just people who want to get better. When we hold our in-house tournaments, it is not to see who is the best, but to test our problem-solving in a live environment. Beginners with only three months of training get to test their mettle right alongside our senior belts. It is loud, supportive, and it is exactly how we ensure nobody is just going through the motions.

When I talk about culture, I am not using a marketing buzzword. I spent years dealing with selfish fighters and training environments that felt more like ego-clashes than learning spaces. I started this team to change that.

The Reign MMA Way

Our culture is built on three pillars: hard work, loyalty, and the ability to leave your ego at the door. If you want to train in a place where people help you up rather than smash you just to prove a point, this is it.

Why In-House Tournaments Matter

We run regular in-house tournaments because that is where the real learning happens. It is one thing to drill a move in a calm environment, but it is entirely different to execute under pressure. These events are not about winning trophies; they are about seeing how your Jiu Jitsu holds up when things get messy. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned grappler, you get to experience the stress, the adrenaline, and the camaraderie of competition right here in HBR Layout.

Earning Your Stripes

Belt promotions at our gym are not given out for just showing up. They represent a journey, months of consistency, and a deep understanding of concepts like Kuzushi and base. When you see someone getting their stripe or their new belt, know that they have put in the work. We celebrate these milestones because they keep us all motivated. It is a reminder that we are all on the same path, constantly learning and evolving as martial artists.

I am Vighnesh, and honestly, without this team, I am nothing. We are not a gym for people who want to look cool in a rashguard; we are a tribe for people who want to work hard, leave their ego at the door, and actually solve problems on the mat.
