Eco-Retrofit & Adaptive Reuse
Material Finishes
- Flooring: Hand-crafted colored Oxide (Red/Black/Green) or locally sourced terracotta/Shahabad stone replacing vitrified tiles.
- Walls: Breathable lime plaster, mud-based washes, or exposure of existing brickwork using low-VOC sealants.
- Ceilings: Retention of existing slabs with minimal finishes or filler-slab aesthetics using pot tiles.
Circular Joinery
- Woodwork: Use of reclaimed timber and salvaged doors/windows from demolition yards.
- Storage: Bolt-assembled wardrobes (design for disassembly) using solid wood alternatives to plywood/laminate.
- Furniture: Curation of cane, wicker, or restored antique pieces like indoor swings.
Lighting & Softscapes
- Illumination: High-efficiency LED fixtures positioned to maximize daylight diffusion; upcycled paper/cardboard fixtures.
- Furnishing: Natural fiber rugs (jute/coir) and integrated indoor planters/vertical green elements.
Structural Earth Masonry & Passive Systems
Earth Civil Works
- Masonry: Internal partitions using Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks (CSEB), rammed earth, or adobe blocks.
- Roofing: Construction of brick-vaulted ceilings, jack-arch roofs, or filler slabs for thermal comfort.
- Passive Climate: Modification of fenestrations for cross-ventilation/stack effect and skylight creation.
Integrated Systems
- Water: Dual-plumbing piping for greywater recycling via reed beds and interior rainwater harvesting.
- Insulation: Terrace treatment with Brick Bat Coba or roof gardens to insulate top-floor interiors.
- Fixtures: Ultra-low flow water fixtures and energy-efficient climate control systems.
Bespoke Fabrication
- Kitchens: Masonry-based counters (Cuddapah/Granite) with reclaimed wood shutters avoiding particle boards.
- Art & Metal: Commissioned mud murals, relief work, and grills fabricated from upcycled metal waste/automotive parts.
- Partitions: Experimental dividers using paper tubes, bamboo, or reclaimed railway sleeper wood.
About Ecological & Sustainable Interiors
We don’t just make interiors look good - we’re all about spaces that feel good and actually do good for you and the planet. Every project starts with a simple question: how can we create interiors that are healthy, comfortable, and gentle on the earth, right from the materials we pick to how things can be reused way down the line?
Waste? Nah, Resource!
We see waste as opportunity. If there’s a chance to give old wood, bricks, or even stuff from the kabadi ki dukaan (scrap shop) a new life, we grab it. Upcycled interior design isn’t just a buzzword for us - it’s how we work. We design for disassembly, so that down the road, things can be taken apart and used somewhere else, not dumped.
Local & Natural First
Why bring stuff from miles away when we’ve got great materials right here? We love compressed earth blocks, exposed brick, natural stones like Cuddapah, and oxide flooring. These materials not only look and feel good, but keep the space cool and grounded in its own place. Passive cooling for interiors is a big deal for us - think thick earth walls and smart cross-ventilation.
Nature is Always In
We try to blur the lines between outdoors and indoors, whether it’s through big windows, living facades, or just a few well-placed indoor plants. Biophilic design elements connect you with nature, which honestly just makes life nicer.
Flexible, Always
Homes, schools, offices - doesn't matter. We adapt our approach, whether that’s reusing old building parts, working with natural light, or figuring out rainwater harvesting systems. Every space gets its own flavor, but the core idea stays: do right by people and the planet.

My Story
We started out wanting to get our hands dirty, literally. For us, design kicks off with the land, the local folks, and whatever materials are lying around. It’s not just about making buildings, it’s about stories—like those homestays in MP, where elders and kids slap on mud murals together. We love digging through kabadi ki dukaan (scrap shop) for old windows, or giving Chettinad doors a second life. Every wall’s got a memory, some future too.
My Work
What We Build - Private homes, schools, big community spaces, vernacular homestays, and sometimes interiors, always with an eco-first mindset.
Earth & Ecological Architecture - We use mud, stone, adobe, cob—keeping natural mud wall construction alive and local architecture from fading out.
Community Collaboration - Every project is participatory. We work with NGOs, governments, and locals—craftsmen lead, we follow.
Circularity & Reuse - Recycled building materials are our jam. We turn waste into windows, old doors into new stories.
Future-Ready Design - Design for disassembly means spaces can change, adapt, and get reused—buildings aren’t forever, but their purpose can be.
