About Weapons Training
If you are worried about hitting yourself while learning nunchucks, don't be. I start all my students with safe, foam-padded practice weapons so you can learn the grips and flow without any fear of bruises. Once you get comfortable with the rhythm and basic hand-rolls, we move on to wood or metal weapons to level up your control.
Weapons training is as much about mental focus as it is about physical speed. When you pick up a pair of nunchucks or a bo staff, you have to be completely present. My sessions in Rajajinagar focus on breaking down these complex movements into small, repeatable steps that anyone can follow.
