Our Approach to Taekwondo
At Bengaluru Taekwondo Akademi, we treat martial arts as a scientific art. My team and I focus on the basics because they are the foundation for everything that follows. When your stances and strikes are solid, you gain the confidence to handle any challenge, whether it is on the mat or in daily life.
Training for Everyone We believe anyone can start, regardless of age or fitness level. Our sessions are split into clear tiers:
- Foundation & Fitness: Perfect for beginners, kids, and adults looking to improve flexibility, core strength, and discipline. We use a 90-minute format that balances cardio, warm-ups, and technique.
- Elite Competition Squad: For those with serious goals, we provide intensive, 6-day-a-week training under my supervision. We prepare students for district, state, and national meets, often helping them navigate sports quota applications and scholarships.
Practical Facility Details Both our Chikkabidarakallu and Vidyaranyapura locations are equipped with 25mm interlocking EVA foam mats for safe, barefoot training. We maintain a functional, non-AC environment that prioritizes natural airflow and proper conditioning. You will find all the necessary gear here—from kicking paddles to plyometric boxes—so you just need to bring your focus.
The Journey Progress is measured through the belt system. You will start at the white belt and work through each level, earning your promotion through discipline and consistent practice. There are no shortcuts, but we provide the mentorship to ensure every student keeps moving forward. Whether you are here for weight loss, self-defense, or an Olympic medal, we have a spot for you in our family.
