Since 1986, we have maintained a simple philosophy: if you have the will, we have the way. Our para-swimming program is not an afterthought; it is a core pillar of Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre. We have nurtured athletes like Niranjan Mukundan, who became the first Indian para-swimmer to enter the 100 international medal club.

How We Train

Our methodology combines rigorous physical conditioning with specialized coaching:

• Tailored Technique: Every swimmer has a unique stroke. Our coaches, including Dronacharya awardees, work one-on-one to refine your water entry, pull, and kick, ensuring efficiency and safety in the pool.
• Holistic Support: High-level performance requires more than just time in the water. Our athletes have access to our in-house fitness centre, sports physio, and massage therapy to prevent injury and aid recovery.
• Mental Conditioning: Swimming at a competitive level can be taxing. We provide sports psychology support to help our para-athletes maintain focus and mental clarity during high-pressure championships.
