This is what our hands-on baking certification course looks like on brownie day. We believe in learning by doing, so our students explore the science behind the perfect brownie, from achieving a fudgy texture to getting that signature crinkle top.
Day 9 of our certification course is all about brownies. Our students get hands-on practice making a wide range of variations, including cream cheese swirl, triple chocolate, and cookies and cream brownies, perfecting every detail from scratch.
We offer flexible learning options like our weekend batches, perfect for working professionals, new moms, and students. Here you can see our instructor providing one-on-one guidance to a student practicing her piping skills.

About A Look Inside Our Classroom
This is a working kitchen, not a lecture hall. In every class, you are at the workstation with your own set of tools, responsible for every step of the process. Whether you are tempering chocolate for brownies or perfecting the crumb structure of a cake, you get hands-on experience so you build actual muscle memory. If a batch goes wrong, we do not just discard it; we troubleshoot the science behind the failure so you know how to fix it next time.
How We Teach
We move past recipes because you can find those anywhere. Our focus is on the science of baking. Why does the butter temperature change the texture? Why do we use specific couverture chocolates instead of compounds? When you understand the 'kyun' behind these details, you stop following instructions and start creating your own consistent results.
The Classroom Environment
Located in HBR Layout, our academy is equipped with professional-grade gear, including commercial deck ovens and heavy-duty stand mixers. This is important because learning to bake at home with a hand whisk is very different from managing a production schedule in a bakery. We train you on the tools you will actually use if you decide to launch your own brand.
