About Half & Half Cakes: Two Flavors in One!
The biggest struggle at any party is finding a flavor that everyone agrees on. That is why I build a sturdy frosting wall between the two halves of every cake. Whether it is Ras Malai meeting chocolate or Biscoff with Ferrero, you get two completely distinct flavor profiles on one board without any bleeding.
Whether it’s a birthday, office gathering, or a family function, picking one flavor is often a debate. I started offering half & half cakes because I hated seeing people compromise. It is my favorite way to make sure everyone at your table gets a slice they actually want.
How We Build Them
I prepare two separate sponge bases—usually split vertically—and use a piped buttercream or ganache wall as a physical barrier. This ensures that even if you pair a delicate floral vanilla with a rich chocolate ganache, the flavors stay exactly where they belong. Everything is 100% eggless and made from scratch.
