Precious Newborn Moments (5-25 Days)
These first few weeks fly by faster than you think. I create a safe, calm space to capture your baby’s earliest, most delicate details before they start growing up.
For the little one who is born to be stylish, this luxury-themed newborn shoot was a fun and unique concept. It’s a playful way to welcome a new baby with a touch of glamour.
Double the love. This creative newborn portrait of twins is a whimsical way to announce their arrival. I love designing unique concepts like this to tell each family's special story.
Buy one, get one free. This playful clothesline setup is another one of my favorite ways to photograph newborn twins, highlighting their special bond from the very beginning.
This one-month-old looks like a little sunflower herself. I used a cozy knit basket and a backdrop of lush leaves to create this nature-inspired newborn portrait, highlighting her delicate features.
This little pumpkin was perfectly content in his rustic wicker bassinet. The warm, earthy tones and soft textures create a cozy and autumnal feel for this newborn session.
A close-up of this adorable newborn, capturing his thoughtful expression and tiny features. These are the details you will want to remember forever.
A newborn's first Christmas is pure magic. This little one is nestled in a festive dreamcatcher swing, surrounded by soft clouds and holiday cheer, creating a truly enchanting holiday portrait.
This video gives a peek into how I create a beautifully wrapped newborn portrait. It ends with the final result, a framed print that becomes a cherished piece of art for the family's home.
Capturing a two-month-old's peaceful sleep is a beautiful thing. This video shows different gentle poses, from a close-up of his sweet face to his tiny form curled up, preserving these quiet moments.
Even at three months, we can capture beautiful milestone moments. This session included adorable individual portraits and a lovely family shot, preserving the memory of this sweet stage.
About Precious Newborn Moments (5-25 Days)
Newborns are most settled and flexible for posing between 5 and 25 days old. During this window, they are still deep in that sleepy, newborn phase, which is exactly why I schedule our sessions in the morning when your baby is naturally calmest.
Why the 5-25 Day Window Matters
I often tell parents not to wait too long. Those first few weeks are when your baby is still accustomed to being curled up, making it much easier to achieve those peaceful, sleeping poses safely. After 25 days, babies start stretching out more and become more alert, which is beautiful in its own way but makes traditional newborn posing difficult.
My Approach to Safety and Comfort
Your baby’s safety is the only thing that truly matters during our time together. My studio in Andheri West is designed to be a controlled, warm environment. I never force a pose. If your little one needs to eat, be changed, or simply needs a cuddle from you, we stop. We move at your baby’s pace, not a clock’s.
What Happens in the Studio
I handle the setup, styling, and posing. You don’t need to worry about props or outfits, as I have a collection of wraps, baskets, and bonnets designed for newborns. If you have a family heirloom, like a special blanket or a small toy, please bring it along. I love incorporating personal items to make the portraits uniquely yours.
Planning Your Session
Because babies rarely arrive exactly on their due date, I recommend booking your session at least three weeks in advance. Once you book, I block out a tentative window around your due date. As soon as you are home from the hospital, let me know, and we will finalize the exact date for your shoot. This takes the pressure off you during the first hectic days at home.
