The key to a good newborn shoot isn't just the prop—it's the timing. My HSR studio is fully equipped with a private feeding and changing room, so we never rush to fit into a strict time slot. We work around your baby’s nap and feed schedule, ensuring they stay comfortable and settled while we capture those quiet, dreamy shots.
Photography with newborns and infants requires much more than just a camera and good lighting; it demands a high level of patience and a safe environment. Whether you are looking for classic, posed infant portraits or candid, storytelling sessions, my approach remains consistent: the baby leads the session, not the clock.
My HSR Layout studio is designed specifically for this. It is a controlled, climate-adjusted space where we maintain a temperature comfortable for a newborn who isn't wearing much. We have access to over 100 different setups, meaning we don't have to force a pose if your baby isn't settling into it. We can easily switch between props, wraps, and textures to find what works best for them in the moment.
