Those first few weeks are a beautiful blur, but they fly by so fast. I’m here to help you hit pause, gently capturing your baby’s tiny yawns and sleepy smiles in a safe, cozy studio environment.

A sleepy smile is one of the most precious gifts from a newborn session. I love capturing these fleeting moments of pure contentment, wrapped cozily in a vibrant purple swaddle.

The simplicity of a sleeping baby in a soft, knitted wrap is timeless. This classic black and white portrait focuses on the peaceful expression and delicate features of your newborn.

I love using natural textures and warm colors, like this mustard yellow outfit and rattan basket. It creates a cozy, autumnal feel while keeping the focus on your peacefully sleeping baby.

This classic 'potato sack' pose is a favorite for showing how curled up and tiny newborns are. The rich green wrap and rustic wooden backdrop create a beautiful, earthy portrait.

A slightly different angle of this peaceful pose, surrounded by festive holly and pinecones. This setup is perfect for babies born around the holiday season.

There is something so angelic about a baby sleeping soundly in a tiny bed. I use soft, fluffy blankets to ensure they are completely comfortable and secure during the shoot.

Capturing the bond between twins is twice the magic. Here, I posed them nose to nose, showing their connection and comfort with each other, even while they sleep.

Another sweet pose for newborn twins, tucked in together under a warm blanket. My studio is equipped to handle the unique joy and challenge of a twin photoshoot.

This portrait showcases the delicate features of a newborn girl, with a simple headband adding a touch of sweetness. The focus remains on her peaceful, sleeping face.

A floral crown and a deep purple wrap create a dreamy, fairytale look. I love how this baby is smiling in her sleep, a truly magical moment to capture.

About Posed Newborn Portraits

You might worry about how to handle a tiny baby during a shoot, but that’s where my studio experience comes in. It is set up like a mini spa, kept at the perfect temperature to keep your little one calm and comfortable. We take our time—usually 2.5 to 4 hours—because the baby’s needs always come first, and a relaxed, sleeping baby makes for the most beautiful, timeless portraits.
