Painting outdoors in Bengaluru doesn't need to be intimidating. Join my two-day workshop in Cubbon Park to slow down, learn watercolor basics, and make new friends without any pressure to be perfect.

This is what my Watercolour Picnic is all about. We gather under the trees in Cubbon Park, leave our worries behind, and just create. It’s a friendly, no-pressure space for anyone who wants to try their hand at painting.

I made this short video to give you a real feel for the workshop. It's not a serious, intimidating class. It's a chill, two-day hangout where we paint, laugh, and make new friends in the heart of Bengaluru.

This is the happy result of Day 1. A group of amazing people, many of whom had never painted before, proudly showing their first watercolor pieces. This is proof that you don't need any experience, just a willingness to try.

There's a special magic in capturing a moment right as you see it. This video shows one of my plein air paintings of a Cubbon Park scene, created right there on the spot. This is the kind of observation and skill I guide you through.

The picnic starts with a tiny welcome kit for everyone. It’s my small way of saying I’m glad you’re here. This photo captures the joy and connection that happens when we share a creative experience.

Here is my watercolor sketch of the iconic bandstand in Cubbon Park, held up against the real thing. During the workshop, I teach you how to observe details like this and translate them onto your paper.

To give you a taste of what we learn, here's a quick tutorial on the 'Color Pull' technique. It's a fundamental watercolor skill for creating beautiful, soft gradients, which we practice during our sessions.

All the details for my next Watercolour Picnic in one place. This is an outdoor, two-day painting workshop in Bengaluru with very limited spots to keep the group cozy. If this feels right, I'd love for you to join us.

About Featured

I keep these picnics intentionally small, just 10 people, so we can actually chat and paint together. While I provide the paper and those little surprises in your welcome kit, remember to bring your own brushes, palette, and paints, since those are the tools you will need to get comfortable with.
