I don't just sketch; I try to catch the feeling of a moment—whether it's a portrait of a loved one or a painting of a place you can't stop thinking about.

This was a moment of clarity for me. I decided to take a leap and start painting portraits live. This is a gouache portrait I did, and while it's not perfect, I'm proud of the progress. I love capturing people's essence in my art.

Practice makes perfect, right? Here I am working on my watercolor portrait skills. Capturing a likeness is a challenge I enjoy, and each painting teaches me something new about blending colors and capturing emotion.

A quick look at a watercolor portrait I'm working on. I use high-quality Mijello Mission Gold paints and Escoda brushes to get these rich, transparent layers. If you're interested in a custom portrait, this is the style I love to work in.

I painted this portrait of the late Sushant Singh Rajput as a tribute. His work was so inspiring, and art is my way of remembering the light he brought to the screen. Portraits can be a powerful way to honor someone.

For the first time, I got to be a muse for another artist's painting. It was a fascinating experience to be on the other side of the canvas. This beautiful oil portrait with sunflowers was the result.

I couldn't leave Auroville without painting this cutie, Maxi. While others took photos, I took out my sketchbook to capture his sweet face. I love creating these spontaneous pet portraits that freeze a moment of connection.

This is an acrylic painting I was commissioned to do of a beautiful husky named Kyra. Pet portraits are one of my favorite commissions, as I get to capture the personality of these amazing animals.

About Custom Art Commissions

When you reach out, we start by talking about the reference—a photo or a specific memory—and what feeling you want the piece to hold. I'm comfortable with watercolor, gouache, acrylic, or digital, so we'll pick the medium that best fits the vibe of your story before I even pick up a brush.

How We Work Together

My goal is to make art that feels personal. We are not just matching colors; we are preserving a moment. Whether it is a portrait of a beloved pet or a tribute to someone who inspires you, I put the same care into your commission that I put into my own private sketchbook.

Choosing Your Medium

  • Watercolor & Gouache: These are my go-to for that soft, textured, authentic paper feel. Perfect for framing.
  • Acrylic: If you want something durable and vibrant for your wall, I work on 12x16 inch stretched canvas with high-quality paints.
  • Digital: Ideal if you need a high-resolution file to print later or use for personal projects.

The Process

It is a manual, slow process, and I prefer it that way. I work from your reference photos and keep you updated throughout the creation. If it is a digital piece, I always share a preliminary sketch for your input before finalizing the colors. For traditional paintings, I ensure we look at reference photos that capture the lighting and angles you love, as I use professional-grade, acid-free materials to ensure the art lasts.

Everything is created right here in my Bangalore studio. I pack every order with care, include a handwritten note, and ship it anywhere in India. Expect a 7 to 14 day turnaround, because I never rush the craft.
