Every piece here started as a raw slab of timber in our workshop. From collapsible tables to ergonomic chairs, these projects highlight the technical skills our students master through hands-on practice.

This modern, mobile storage cabinet was a final project for our diploma students. It combines natural wood grain drawer fronts with a sleek, dark-painted carcass, showcasing skills in both solid wood and panel processing.

A student in our diploma program designed and built this solid wood lounge chair. The project involved creating strong, angled joints and assembling numerous slats to create an ergonomic and stylish piece of outdoor furniture.

This collapsible round table demonstrates clever design and precise execution. Our students learn to create functional furniture that incorporates smart mechanisms, like this folding leg assembly for easy storage.

Built with strong, clean lines, this solid wood armchair is a testament to fundamental woodworking principles. The student focused on creating robust joinery and a functional form, resulting in a durable and timeless piece.

This minimalist slatted stool was a final project for students in our conventional woodworking course. It required precise cutting and spacing to achieve the clean, modern aesthetic, teaching valuable lessons in repetition and accuracy.

Woodworking isn't just for furniture. This creative arrow-shaped shelving unit, made by one of our students, shows how basic construction techniques can be used to make unique home decor items.

This piece is an ergonomic, back-friendly coconut grater, designed and built by a student. It features a pull-out drawer and a concealed grater, blending traditional utility with thoughtful, modern woodworking design.

A classic glass-top coffee table with a modern, interlocking base design. This project taught students how to create a stable structure with open, geometric forms and prepare it for a non-wood element like a glass surface.

The frame of this armchair, seen before the seat panels are installed, highlights the structural work involved. Students learn to build a sturdy skeleton that ensures the furniture will last for years.

A closer look at the functionality of the mobile storage cabinet. The video shows the smooth operation of the drawers, which use modern hardware, and the solid construction of the overall piece.

About Student Showcase: Furniture & Decor

These pieces are not just demonstrations. They are functional furniture built by students during our diploma and certificate courses. From calculating joint tolerances to setting up CNC toolpaths, every project here follows a real-world production workflow. You will learn to work with everything from basic hand planes to industrial-grade CNC routers, gaining the precision required to turn raw timber into a finished, usable product.
