Working with metal for furniture requires more than just raw enthusiasm. In our advanced modules, you will move past basic welding to master jigging, cold bending, and creating structural joints that hold weight. You will be hands-on with grinders and MIG welders, turning raw steel into a functional piece that you can actually use.

If you have already played with a welder or are looking to build something more than just a decorative piece, this is where you go deeper. Our advanced workshops are built for students, hobbyists, and budding designers who need to move from 'making things' to 'fabricating products'.

We focus on the industrial side of things. That means you are not just slapping metal together; you are learning how to read a material, calculate your cuts, and manage structural integrity. In our 2-day furniture workshops, we dive into cold bending steel rods, using manual jigs to get those clean, professional curves, and grinding down welds so they look seamless.

For architecture and design students, our 4-day modules are a bootcamp for your portfolio. We do not just teach you how to spark a welder; we walk you through the design theory behind the build. Whether you are dealing with sheet metal, spot welding, or complex joinery, the goal is to leave with a prototype that shows you understand the material.

Everything happens in our makerspace in Horamavu. We keep the groups small, typically a 1:4 to 1:6 ratio, so you actually get the guidance you need when you are stuck. You get access to the same tools you would find in an industrial fabrication studio, from heavy-duty bench vices to professional MIG setups.
