Student Event Projects and Theme Decor Showcase
See how our students turn theory into reality. From concept sketches to final setups, this is their final exam.
A fantastic "First-BEE" themed project by Team Incredibles. They took the concept and executed it beautifully, showing their confidence and teamwork. This is the Evolves Group standard.
For their project, our fifth batch students created this detailed Tom and Jerry theme. They handled everything from the design sketch and material purchasing to the final setup, building immense confidence for handling real client work.
A practical session where students brought a Jurassic theme to life. This involved concept planning, arranging backdrops and props, and coordinating colors to create an immersive birthday experience.
Our students brought the jungle to life with this detailed themed setup. They learn to plan, design, and execute, crafting every detail from lush greenery to exotic props.
Watch my students explain their process for creating this jungle-themed birthday setup. They learned about color coordination, balloon placement, and adding unique lighting to make the theme stand out.
A sweet and magical Candyland birthday setup created by our 13th batch students. This project showcases their ability to execute a colorful and complex theme.
I am explaining the details of a Candyland birthday setup to my students. A theme is not just a backdrop; it's about using 2D and 3D elements, custom props, and consistent color schemes from entry to exit to create an immersive world.
A fantastic before-and-after of a construction-themed birthday event. This shows the complete transformation our students are capable of, turning a simple space into a detailed and engaging setup.
A spooky and creative Halloween party theme, submitted as project work by our 7th batch students. They handled everything from the "Boo!" backdrop and skeleton props to the eerie lighting.
Our students creating a romantic candlelight dinner setup. They learn to master ambience through lighting, table styling, and floral decor, turning a simple space into an elegant experience.
About Our Students' Work: Final Project Showcase
I do not give my students dummy projects. Each setup you see here, from the Candyland theme to the Jurassic construction, was executed by the students themselves. They sourced the materials, handled the flex framing, managed the balloon artistry, and dealt with the logistics just like they would for a paying client. This is how I test if they are ready to run their own show.
Hands-On Training, Not Just Theory
This is not a portfolio of my work; it is the final evaluation for my students. My 45-day intensive program focuses heavily on real-world execution. Before they touch a client project, students must prove they can build a theme from scratch in our studio.
Why We Use These Themes
We select specific themes to teach distinct skill sets:
- Jurassic Theme: Demands attention to greenery, texturing, and prop placement.
- Candyland Theme: Tests color coordination, spatial layout, and 3D prop integration.
- Construction/Spooky Themes: Focus on lighting effects, flex backdrop installation, and creating an immersive atmosphere.
What Students Master
Students handle the end-to-end process: concept drawing, raw material procurement from local markets, installation, and finishing touches. We cover the technical side, including balloon tying techniques, floral foam mechanics, and professional lighting placement.
Does This Prepare You for Business?
Yes. Because I am not there to fix their mistakes during these projects, they learn to handle the pressure, time constraints, and client expectations that define the event industry. Successful completion of these projects is part of the requirement for our government-registered and ISO-certified training programs. If you are looking to start your own event business, you need to know how to build a setup before you hire someone else to do it.
Evolves Group
I am Sharath Srivatsa. I started in this field 12 years ago, and now I teach the next generation of event planners. I believe in hands-on learning—if you cannot build it yourself, you cannot lead a team to do it.
