Student Floral Designs
A look at what our students create. From first-time hobbyists to budding professionals, these pieces show the results of our hands-on design approach.
This student proudly displays her finished fruit and flower basket. In my classes, we turn ordinary elements like baskets into stunning floral art.
Think dried flowers are outdated? Think again. This video showcases a modern, sculptural arrangement using dried botanicals, a key trend we explore in my classes.
This earthy arrangement with warm terracotta tones and deep greens is a perfect example of the "Neo-Nature" trend. It's a beautiful piece for home decor.
A study in restraint. This minimalist arrangement of red tulips in a simple vase shows that sometimes, less is more. This is minimalism, the MMDS way.
Dried textures meet fresh blooms in this sustainable design. I teach my students how to combine elements to create long-lasting and eco-conscious arrangements.
Hanging florals aren't just for events. This beautiful suspended installation brings a soft, subtle, and soulful design element into an everyday space.
This collage showcases the expectation versus reality of floristry. The flawless final designs are the result of the hard work and creative chaos of the process.
This beautiful home arrangement shows how texture adds depth and dimension. The mix of colors and flower types creates a rich, inviting feel.
A student proudly holds her finished piece, a vibrant mix of red and white flowers. This is the kind of beautiful, professional-quality work my students learn to create.
Three students stand behind a massive floral arch they created. This shows the scale and ambition of projects we tackle in the professional and event design courses.
About A Gallery of Student Creations
When you look at these student pieces, notice that they are not 'perfect' in a rigid way. That is intentional. I teach my students to prioritize flow, color psychology, and individual expression over following a strict template. Whether it is a simple Ikebana study or a massive installation, the focus is always on building confidence in your own creative voice.
This gallery is not just a showcase; it is a testament to the MMDS philosophy. We move beyond decoration to design thinking. When you join our programs, you learn to look at flowers as a medium for solving visual problems. You will see students working with everything from seasonal exotics and Ikebana minimalism to high-volume event arch structures.
We maintain a practical approach to learning. In our Indiranagar studio, we focus on hands-on application: how to cut stems, how to hydrate blooms, and how to price your work. Whether you are a career switcher looking for professional accreditation or a hobbyist seeking a mindful break, you learn the same foundational principles of color theory and spatial logic. The result is work that feels personal, sustainable, and professionally styled. If you are ready to stop arranging and start designing, our upcoming batches are open for registration.
Meghaa Modi Design School
I am Meghaa. I started these classes because I believe floral design is a skill that can change how you see the world. My students come here looking for a creative outlet, and they leave with the technique to build something beautiful and the confidence to own it.
