About this collection

When we talk about vocal phrasing or guitar solos, we are drawing from our recent gigs at venues like the ZLB or the Goethe-Institut.
Our faculty, known as The August Quartet, are dedicated to bridging the gap between practice and performance. Whether you are aiming for Trinity or Rockschool exam grades or just want to jam to your favorite Bollywood tracks, our mentors focus on:
- Live Band Experience: We integrate ensemble work early. You will find yourself playing alongside us in our monthly Studio Sessions, which is the best way to conquer stage anxiety.
- Genre Flexibility: From Western Jazz and Blues to Indian Classical and Bollywood, we are comfortable teaching across styles because we perform across them.
- Practical Mentorship: We do not just teach notes; we teach how to listen to other instruments, how to recover from a missed beat, and how to communicate with bandmates.
Located in the heart of the Rustam Bagh Layout on Old Airport Road, our studio is equipped with touring-grade gear—Yamaha uprights, Marshall amps, and DW drum kits—so you learn on the equipment you would actually find on a professional stage. Whether you join us in-studio or opt for our online mentorship, you are getting the same commitment to your musical journey.
