About Guitar, Ukulele & Violin Jams
We do things a little differently at AMP. Instead of just focusing on sheet music, we get you on stage. During your guitar, ukulele, or violin lessons, you will often play alongside our pro house band, The August Quartet. This helps you get comfortable with rhythm and timing in a real band setting, so you gain confidence much faster than you would with solitary practice.

We focus on practical application—you will learn the theory you need, but we spend most of our time getting you ready to play.

It is a space designed for musicians, by musicians. If you are not in the area, we offer online lessons that follow the same philosophy—keeping music fun and accessible for everyone.
