About this collection
You won't just be practicing on a lonely kit in a corner. Here, we plug you into our touring-grade DW and Alesis setups, and because we are all about band dynamics, we will get you jamming with our faculty band during your sessions. It is the fastest way to stop thinking about your feet and start feeling the groove.
At our studio on Old Airport Road, we believe drumming is a conversation, not just a solo activity. That is why our drum lessons are heavily focused on 'The Band Experience.' Whether you are learning rock, jazz, or Bollywood grooves, we ensure you have the chance to play alongside real musicians—often our very own August Quartet faculty band.
How We Train
We cater to all levels, from children aged 6 discovering their rhythm to adults revisiting a long-lost hobby.
- Technique & Foundations: We start with the basics of posture, grip, and timing, ensuring you have the solid foundation needed for more complex styles.
- Gear Access: You have access to our professional-grade equipment, including DW acoustic kits and high-end Alesis electronic kits, so you learn to control both acoustic resonance and electronic triggers.
- Exam Prep: If you have goals like Trinity College London or Rockschool UK, our syllabus is built to get you there with confidence.
