About Exploring Culture & Heritage

These sessions are not lectures. They are gatherings where we sit together, taste temple prasadams, or learn how to read the intricate weave of a traditional saree. Whether you are hosting or attending, expect to leave with more than just knowledge—you will have a story of your own to share.

At our bookstore and event venue in Indiranagar, we treat culture as something that should be handled, tasted, and debated, not just observed from a distance. Our auditorium and bookstore spaces are designed to break the barrier between the speaker and the audience.

Why Host Your Cultural Event Here?

We host a wide spectrum of heritage-focused events, from deep-dives into Bhujodi sarees and Khadi textiles to celebrations of temple food traditions. We provide the infrastructure—HD projectors, professional sound systems, and flexible stage layouts—so you can focus on the content. Our space is adaptable; we have hosted intimate storytelling circles about grandparents and large-scale festivals celebrating chai and tea culture.

Practical Details for Organizers

  • The Venue: We offer a cozy bookstore area for smaller, informal workshops and a 100-seater auditorium for performances and larger cultural showcases. Both spaces are acoustically treated to ensure every story is heard clearly.
  • Tech & Support: We handle the technical side, including lighting, mics, and projector setup. If your event involves food—like our recent temple prasadam tasting—our team is experienced in helping you coordinate the logistics.
  • Community First: Because we are a hub for Bengaluru's curious minds, our venue naturally attracts an audience interested in art, history, and social issues. If you are launching a book, presenting research, or hosting a folk-art workshop, you are plugging into an existing community of readers and thinkers.

Whether you are exploring the intricacies of Indian heritage or bringing a local tradition to life, our space is here to help that conversation happen.

We are a bookstore that turned into a playground for ideas. We love it when people walk in with a topic—whether it’s traditional Indian textiles or Bangalore’s climate future—and walk out feeling a bit more connected to their city and each other.
