My Journey in Baking
From moving to a new city to baking for local community events and receiving industry recognition, this is my personal story, one cake at a time.
I was so excited to be part of the Cake Party Fest, a gathering of over 100 bakers. I brought two of my signature cakes, Lemon Berry and Mocha Orange.

About My Journey in Baking
When I moved to Thane, I did not know anyone. Baking became my way of reaching out, starting with small home orders and eventually connecting with local communities like Estate Social. Receiving the Runner-Up award for Best Homebaker at the KSP Awards 2024 was not just about a trophy; it was validation that I had found my place here, and that the long hours in the kitchen were building something real.
Building a brand as a home baker in a city like Mumbai is a journey of small wins. It started with a simple kitchen setup in Hiranandani Estate and a commitment to baking 100 percent egg-free cakes from scratch. My focus has always been on quality over shortcuts, ensuring that every whipped cream cake or fresh dessert carries that homemade touch. Being part of local gatherings like Estate Social allowed me to meet neighbors and fellow entrepreneurs, turning baking into a shared experience rather than just a transaction. The recognition at the Kidsstoppress KSP Awards 2024 as the Runner-Up for Best Homebaker, followed by my nomination for the Indian Cake Awards, felt like a turning point. These moments have confirmed that my philosophy of using simple, high-quality ingredients resonates with the families I bake for. Whether I am preparing for a large community event or a quiet birthday celebration, the goal remains the same: to deliver taste that feels like home.
