Traditional Ethnic Wear for Kids
I design comfortable, traditional outfits for children aged 1 to 10. From mini Langa Dhawanis to stylish kurta sets, each piece is handcrafted to ensure your little ones look their best while staying perfectly at ease during family celebrations.

The same frock, now with a beautiful peacock motif embroidered on the bodice, adding a special touch for the little one.

About this collection
When I design for little ones, my priority is comfort—if they cannot run, play, and eat comfortably, they will not wear it. I use soft cotton linings for all embroidery work to prevent skin irritation and ensure the fit allows for active movement, so your child feels as good as they look.
Finding traditional clothes that don't itch or restrict movement is often the biggest challenge for parents during weddings or festive seasons. I address this by focusing on 'kid-friendly' construction.
My process for children’s outfits involves selecting fabrics that are breathable and gentle on delicate skin, like soft silks and cotton blends. Whether it is a mini Langa Dhawani for a naamkarana or a kurta-dhoti set for a muhurtham, I avoid heavy, sharp embellishments directly against the skin. Instead, I use clever placement for embroidery—focusing on the neckline or shoulders—so the outfit remains lightweight and easy to carry.
Why Parents Choose My Kids' Collection
- Perfect Fit for Every Age: Whether your child is 1 year old or 10, I custom-measure and tailor the outfit to their specific height and activity level.
- Matching the Family: Many parents love to coordinate, and I specialize in family-set designs. If you are ordering your bridal or party outfit with me, I can use matching fabrics and motifs to create a coordinated look for your children, making for beautiful, cohesive family photos.
- Practicality: I design skirts with canvas borders that hold their shape but are easy to manage, and kurtas with simple, concealed plackets that make dressing up quick and stress-free.
If you have a specific theme in mind or want your little one to match your own outfit, let’s chat. I love bringing these miniature versions of traditional designs to life, ensuring your child is the star of the event without any fuss.
