About Bridal Blouse Masterpieces
I do not use glue for your bridal outfits. Every bead, stone, and motif is individually hand-stitched using traditional Maggam or Aari techniques. This ensures your embroidery stays intact, allowing you to re-wear your blouse for family functions or festivals years after your wedding day.
When you come to my studio in Vijayanagar, the first thing we do is talk. I want to understand the story behind your saree. Did you inherit a piece of jewelry that you want to match? Do you have a specific silhouette in mind that balances your bridal look?
My approach to bridal blouses focuses on the 'fall and feel' of the garment. I specialize in:
- Hand Embroidery: Using authentic Zardosi, dori, and resham to create dense, rich textures that do not fray or lose their shine.
- Perfect Fit: I utilize princess-cut or padded construction tailored to your body type. It needs to feel comfortable, or, as we say, nimge suit aagbeku (it should suit you).
- New Age Designs: I enjoy mixing techniques, such as using tulle net for illusion backs or incorporating tropical motifs onto traditional Kanchipuram silk.
I also provide custom latkans (tassels) that match your embroidery theme, adding those small details that make the entire outfit feel cohesive. Whether you are in Mandya, Mysore, or anywhere in Bengaluru, I ensure the process includes multiple trial sessions until the fit is perfect.
