Custom Textured Art & Wall Installations
I translate raw emotion into physical, touchable art. Using heavy-body acrylics, upcycled paper, and texture paste, I create wall pieces that change with the light in your space.
Every emotion has a face. Here, I introduce my 'Navarasa' collection, a series that gives form to feelings like Compassion (Karuna), Courage (Vira Rasa), and Peace (Shanta Rasa).
'The Awakening Cycle' is more than just an artwork; it is my story told through upcycled paper and paste. This video shows the process of its creation, from mixing the materials to the final spray of color.
From chaos comes order. This series began as fragmented, raw pieces of upcycled paper. With intention and stillness, they were arranged into a structured collection that finds harmony in the shadows.
I believe in letting go and pouring myself into the process. This video shows the physical, hands-on work of creating a large-scale piece, from preparing the pulp to shaping the final form.
Before committing to a large final piece, I always create a smaller sample. This allows me to experiment with textures, colors, and techniques, ensuring the final artwork comes to life just as I envisioned.
Even old paper can have a bold attitude. This is one of sixteen unique creations from my 'Cutting Edge' series, where upcycled materials are sculpted into unapologetically modern forms.
There is a fragile kind of beauty in the breakdown. My art celebrates the imperfect folds and raw edges, because within the disorder lies a deeper truth. These are upcycled paper pieces before being assembled.
My hands at work, whispering an untold story into the canvas. Here, I am carefully refining the lines of a large textured piece, a process that requires both patience and a steady hand.
A moment of contemplation while working on a large-scale commission. Each piece is a journey, and sometimes you have to step back to see where the path is leading.
My studio, with the sea just outside the window, is my sanctuary. Here I am, deep in the process of creating, with the natural light guiding my work.
About Commissioned Art: From Navarasa to The Awakening
Before I begin a large-scale project, I always create a 12-inch sample for you. This lets us test how the texture interacts with the specific lighting in your room before I commit to your main wall. It takes the guesswork out of the final installation, ensuring the scale and shadow play are exactly what you wanted.
My process is rooted in patience. Whether I am working on the Navarasa collection, which explores emotions like Vira Rasa and Karuna, or creating a piece from the Awakening cycle, I build the art in layers. I start with raw materials—often upcycled paper pulp—and let them dry into structured, sculptural forms.
This approach allows me to control how shadows fall across the surface. If you are looking for contemporary wall sculptures, I focus on tactile depth that invites you to reach out. I do not just paint; I sculpt the wall. Every commission involves a consultation where we discuss wall space, light direction, and how the art fits into your daily rhythm.
I handle the entire cycle—from the initial texture study to the final installation. Because my pieces are often heavy and require specific mounting, I ensure they are built for your wall's surface, whether it is standard plaster or a textured finish. If you have a specific emotion or memory you want to capture in your space, let’s discuss how to bring that into form.
