About Abstract & Textural Landscapes
Because these pieces feature deep, sculpted relief, they change constantly throughout the day. Natural sunlight or focused evening lamps will create new shadows and highlights across the paper forms, so the landscape you see at noon will often look completely different by dinner time.
My process isn't about applying paint to a flat surface. It’s about building a physical terrain. Whether you are looking at pieces like 'Self Discovery' or 'Enchanted Abyss,' you are seeing months of layering and sculpting with upcycled paper and mixed media. I aim to create art that functions as a 3D wall installation, adding a tactile element to your interiors that you simply cannot get with a standard print or painting.
Why the Texture Matters
The relief in these works is designed to break up light. If you are placing a piece in a room with a specific lighting setup—like an accent wall with track lights or a bright corner with morning sun—the work will feel alive. Installation and Care
I handle the logistics myself, so you don't have to worry about the fragility of these structures. Every piece arrives in a custom-built wooden crate with foam lining to protect the ridges. For mounting, I use either a heavy-duty hook or a French cleat system, depending on the scale. If you are ordering a large installation, I provide video guidance to ensure your carpenter installs it securely to hold the weight of the mixed media layers. All work includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity and dusting instructions to keep the texture clean.
