Textured and Nature-Inspired Art
Art should be something you can feel. I use thick layers of texture to bring nature, landscapes, and movement to life on canvas.
This video shows the process of creating a textured moon painting. I use a thick paste to sculpt the craters and surface, then add subtle color to create a realistic, glowing effect. Perfect as a unique gift.
A textured painting of a peacock against a golden background. The texture in the feathers and the background gives the piece a luxurious, almost three-dimensional quality.
This painting of red-orange flowers uses texture to make the petals and leaves feel tangible. The warm, earthy tones make it a cozy addition to any room.
A serene landscape painting with a winding path. The texture in the grassy fields and the sky adds a rustic, impressionistic feel to the artwork.
Another version of a textured landscape, this time with a prominent tree. The built-up paint gives the foliage and grass a sense of movement and life.
About Textured & Nature-Inspired Art
When I create these pieces, I do not just use brushes. I use palette knives and modeling paste to build actual 3D depth into the canvas. Because these are handmade, you are not just getting a painting. You are getting a tactile, organic surface that changes as the light hits it throughout the day. If you have a specific color palette in mind for your living room or bedroom, let me know, as I can adapt these textures to match your home.
Unlike flat acrylic prints, textured art creates shadows that shift with the lighting in your room. I use a combination of heavy-duty gesso and specialized modeling paste to sculpt the surface. Whether it is the winding path of a landscape or the soft petals of a flower, the physical layers create a sense of movement that feels alive.
The Process and Durability
I treat every piece as a functional part of your home decor. After the texture is built and the paint is dry, I seal every piece with a matte or satin varnish. This protects the textured surface from dust and prevents cracking, ensuring it stays part of your home for years.
Customization for Your Space
I create these pieces in various sizes, ranging from smaller desktop accents to large hero pieces up to 36x48 inches. If you are looking for a statement piece to go behind a sofa or bed, we can discuss the dimensions and colors that fit your existing furniture.
Timeline
Since each piece involves multiple layers and drying time, I usually need 10 to 15 days to complete a commission. Once ready, I securely package your artwork and ship it from my studio in Ahmedabad to anywhere across India.
The Artist
I am a former dentist who found my true calling in the studio. I do not believe in perfect, cookie-cutter art, I believe in paintings that feel alive, messy, and real. If you are looking for a piece of art that actually has soul, let us talk about your wall space.
