Vibrant Festivals & Community Celebrations
Festivals here are not just rituals. They are moments to hit reset, clear the mind, and experience deep, collective joy with our global community.
This is the energy of Maha Shivratri at our Bengaluru ashram. Thousands of us gather under the night sky, united in devotion, meditation, and celebration. It's a powerful experience of oneness that stays with you long after the night is over.
People join our Navratri celebrations from over 90 countries, and their experiences are truly blissful. This is more than a festival; it's a time for deep healing for the body, mind, and soul, where we truly live as one global family.
The sacred fire of the Yagya purifies consciousness and sends positive vibrations across the world. During Navratri, we immerse ourselves in this ancient practice, offering herbs to the fire and allowing the energy to lift our spirits.
During the powerful Rishi Homa on the final day of Navratri, I make offerings to the sacred fire. This ritual is performed to honor the great sages and seek their blessings, filling the atmosphere with profound peace and spiritual energy.
The joy of Janmashtami is infectious. Here, devotees dressed in traditional attire come together for a group photo, their faces radiating the happiness and community spirit that defines our celebrations.
A moment of deep inner connection during the Maha Shivratri puja. Our celebrations are not just about external rituals, but about providing a space for everyone to turn inward and experience profound peace and meditation.
The Ashadhi Ekadashi Sobha Yatra is a vibrant procession of devotion. Our community carries the palki (palanquin) through the ashram grounds, with the Visalakshi Mantap in the background, creating a sea of joyful prayer and celebration.
About this collection
When you visit the Bangalore Ashram for a festival, you quickly realize it is not a spectator event. Whether you are part of a Maha Shivratri night or a weekly Rudra Puja, the energy is tangible. You come to witness a ceremony but often leave feeling lighter, having shared a sattvic meal or a moment of meditation with thousands of people who just arrived, like you, seeking stillness.
A Space for Collective Energy
Our International Centre on Kanakapura Road is more than a campus. It is a living space for sadhana (personal spiritual practice) and seva (selfless service). When we celebrate, we do it with the entire world. From Navratri, where we serve hundreds of thousands of meals, to the electric, all-night energy of Maha Shivratri, our events are designed to help you drop the mental clutter and reconnect with the self.
Why Join Us?
- Authentic Vedic Rituals: We perform ancient ceremonies like the Maha Rudra Homa and Rudra Puja, guided by senior pundits. These are not merely performances, but powerful opportunities to clear negative energy and invite positivity.
- A Global Family: Our festivals draw participants from over 90 countries. You will find yourself chanting, dancing, and eating alongside people from every continent, all united by the same pursuit of peace.
- Inclusive Accessibility: We believe spiritual connection knows no geography. If you cannot make it to Bengaluru, you can participate via online sankalpa, where your name and lineage are chanted during the fire ceremonies with a live stream connection.
