About this collection
This year, our celebration is graced by the rare Somnath Jyotirlinga. Many have described its presence as truly distinct, offering a profound space for meditation that goes beyond the usual rituals and allowing you to connect with the Shiva principle in a quiet, undisturbed environment.
A Night of Deep Connection
Maha Shivratri at our Bengaluru campus is not just a routine festival; it is a time to hit reset. We open our doors to thousands who come to clear the mental clutter through an all-night sequence of rituals and stillness. The night begins with powerful Vedic fire ceremonies, known as Homas, conducted by our senior pundits, followed by the soulful Rudra Puja.
What You Will Experience
- Devotional Atmosphere: We feature live devotional music and mantra chanting that carries through the night, keeping the energy high yet meditative.
- Spiritual Depth: Whether you choose to participate in the silent meditation sessions or join the collective energy of the Rudrabhishekam, the focus is on experiencing oneness.
- The Jyotirlinga Presence: The sacred Somnath Jyotirlinga is placed within the Guru Paduka Vanam, creating an exceptionally powerful focal point for your meditation.
How to Participate
We want to ensure everyone can be part of this experience, regardless of where they are:
- In-Person Retreats: You can book an all-inclusive stay at our ashram. This includes 3-4 days of accommodation in twin-sharing AC rooms or dormitory settings, sattvic vegetarian meals, and priority access to festival sessions.
- Remote Participation: For those unable to travel, we offer an online Sankalpa. During the ceremony, our pundits will chant your name and Gotra, and you will receive a link to watch the live webcast of the Homa. You can also opt for a premium package which includes the delivery of sacred Raksha or dry Prasadam to your home.
Whether you are a student, a CEO, or a homemaker, the ashram provides a space for you to pause and remember that life is a gift.
