I see a busy street; you see a backdrop. Here is how I turn a five-minute chat into a cinematic portrait right here in Mumbai.

From a casual chat by the Mumbai seaface to a beautifully lit portrait. This video shows my complete process of turning a simple moment into a memorable photograph.

I approached these two friends enjoying their day, and we quickly set up a shoot on the sidewalk. You can see how we used the natural city environment to capture a fun, candid portrait.

It started with a simple "hello" to a group of friends. Even with initial hesitation, we managed to capture this lovely, relaxed portrait that highlights her natural smile.

These fashion design students had a great sense of style. We used the architectural details of a building in South Mumbai as a backdrop for this impromptu fashion-style street portrait.

A busy train station platform became our studio for this shoot. This video shows how I find interesting angles and light even in the most crowded and unexpected places.

This group was so much fun to shoot. Their reactions when they saw the photos on my camera are a testament to how a quick, candid session can yield beautiful results.

She said she didn't know how to pose, but that's never a problem. My process is about capturing you as you are, and the result was this beautiful, natural profile shot.

Even when people are camera-shy, a little encouragement is all it takes. We went from "I'm not photogenic" to a beautiful, smiling portrait on a busy street.

It was a pleasant surprise to meet someone I had photographed before. Even though she was in a hurry, we managed to get this sweet and simple portrait in just five minutes.

About The Process: Before & After

The magic doesn't happen in a studio; it happens in the few minutes we spend talking before I click the shutter. I don't look for perfect, empty locations—I look for the right light and your vibe, whether we are standing on a dusty railway bridge or a crowded promenade in Bandra. We go from 'I don't know how to pose' to 'Wow, is that really me?' in just a few quick frames, and I show you the results on my camera screen as we go so you know exactly what we are creating together.
