My Featured Street Photography & Candid Portraits
I roam the streets of Mumbai looking for real people and genuine moments. Here is a handpicked look at my favorite candid portraits and the style that defines my work.
This is the kind of magic I love to create. I met this PhD scholar visiting Mumbai from Delhi right in front of the Gateway of India. We turned a quick, spontaneous chat into a powerful and elegant portrait that captures her confidence against the iconic backdrop.
I spotted Vaishnavi, a content creator, in a busy Mumbai crowd and knew I had to get a shot. Even though she was in a hurry, we took five minutes to create this beautiful, natural portrait that perfectly captures her bright personality. Her "wow" reaction says it all.
People often ask if I only photograph women, and the answer is no! I had a great time shooting with Aviray, who actually follows my work. We used the architecture of a footbridge to create this stylish, candid portrait for him.
Nighttime in Mumbai has its own vibe. Here, I used the ambient street lights to create a moody and cinematic portrait. This shows how we can play with shadows and light to create something dramatic and different from a typical daytime shoot.
The elegance of a saree against the rustic backdrop of a train station creates a beautiful contrast. I aim to show that you don't need a fancy location to create a stunning traditional portrait; it's all about your personal style and the story we tell.
The energy during Garba is incredible, and I love capturing it. This was a fun group shoot where we used the festive atmosphere to get some vibrant and lively portraits. It’s all about capturing the joy of the moment.
This portrait, taken by a serene lake in Jabalpur, shows a softer, more tranquil side of my work. The natural setting and the beautiful bandhani saree come together to create a timeless and graceful image.
The best part of my job is seeing someone's reaction. When she said, "I've never looked so good in a photo," it made my day. This is my goal for every shoot: to help you see yourself in a new and beautiful light.
About Featured
I don't use studios, heavy lights, or complicated setups. I find a cool spot on the street, we have a quick chat, and I capture you in your element. Most of these shots happen in about five to ten minutes, showing that you don't need a model setup to look 'ek number' in a photo.
When I say I shoot on the street, I mean it. My process is simple: we walk, we talk, and I snap moments as they happen. You will see shots in this gallery from places like the Gateway of India, local railway stations, and busy markets across Mumbai.
My approach is what I call 'Location vs Result.' I want to prove that you do not need a fancy location to get a great picture. It is about how you stand, the light we find, and your natural vibe. Whether it is a quiet, moody shot in the evening or a bright, candid smile during the golden hour, my goal is to give you photos that feel like you, not a posed version of you.
I handle the direction and the angles, so you do not need to worry about being awkward in front of the camera. We keep it fast, fun, and very real. If you have a specific place in mind or just want to explore a new neighborhood for a shoot, let me know. We can work with whatever outfit you are wearing and turn a regular Mumbai street corner into a great background.
