Behind the Scenes: How I capture real moments
Photos look easy, but here is how it actually happens. See how I use Mumbai's streets, natural light, and a quick conversation to get that shot.
A moody, cinematic video of me enjoying a quiet moment by the water during a rainy day. Even photographers need to be in the frame sometimes.
About Behind The Scenes
Getting a great shot is not about standing still or holding a stiff pose. It is about the two minutes of conversation we have before I even lift the camera. When you watch these clips, you will notice that I am usually walking and talking with you, not telling you what to do. That is how we keep things natural and get that 'ek number' result.
My process is simple because I believe the best photos come from real vibes, not fancy studio lights.
The Location vs Result Philosophy
I often hear people say they want a 'cinematic look' but don't know where to shoot. My job is to see potential in the places you pass by every day. Whether it is a railway bridge, a busy market, or a quiet lane near Marine Drive, I am looking for the ambient light and the background that makes you stand out.
How a session works
When we meet, we do not waste time setting up tripods or lights. We grab your gear, walk through the area, and talk. If the light is hitting a wall just right, we stop. We shoot. We move on. It is fast, efficient, and keeps the energy high.
Why no studio?
Studios can be stiff. On the street, you are forced to react to the environment, which brings out your genuine personality. My Sony A7IV is small and mobile, which helps me move fast and catch those candid moments before they disappear.
For the creators
If you are looking for content for your brand or influencer profile, the process is the same. We mix planned poses with candid movement to create reels that feel like a film, not a commercial. Check out my other clusters for examples of specific styles like night portraits or couple shoots to see how this process adapts.
