This three-bedroom villa in Corgao is designed as a sanctuary. By blending open-plan living with the local landscape, we are creating a space that feels quiet, grounded, and entirely at home in Goa.

About The Corgao Villa: A Vision for Quiet Living

We focus on creating a connection between your living space and the surrounding greenery, which is why the main living area flows directly onto the wooden deck. You will notice the central spiral staircase in the layout; it acts as a functional sculpture that keeps the sightlines open while giving the home its defining character.

Architecture for the Quiet Life

Our approach to the Corgao project is rooted in the idea that a home should not disturb the land it occupies. This independent 3-bedroom villa, scheduled for groundbreaking in October 2025, is built on a 400 sqm plot and designed to prioritize air, light, and privacy.

The Indian Modern Philosophy

We avoid the sterile, glass-box aesthetic often found in new developments. Instead, we use locally sourced laterite stone and breathable lime plaster to ensure the building ages gracefully with the Goa monsoon. The structure features a sloping roof with Mangalore tiles, a classic choice that provides durability and thermal comfort.

Thoughtful Interiors

The interior palette is defined by material honesty. You will find custom oxide flooring in natural earth tones, which is cool to the touch and requires skilled hands to pour correctly. We use reclaimed teak and jackfruit wood for doors and windows, fitted with traditional brass hardware. The heart of the home is the open-plan living and dining area, which houses a sculptural spiral staircase—a key element that connects the levels while serving as the visual anchor of the space.

Outdoor Integration

Living in Goa means living outside. The villa includes deep overhangs to protect against the sun and rain, creating semi-outdoor verandahs. The private plunge pool, finished with natural stone, is positioned to ensure that the lush tropical garden provides a natural privacy screen. It is a space designed for those who want to live slow, surrounded by nature.
