We are honored to be recognized by Architectural Digest in the AD100 list for the third year in a row. This award is a recognition of our entire team's commitment to creating sensible, sustainable, and timeless architecture.
Meet our Goa-based team of architects. This group of passionate individuals from across the country shares a common goal: to design and build with a deep respect for local context and ecological responsibility.
This is our dedicated construction management team in Goa. They are the ones on the ground, working closely with local artisans to translate our designs into beautifully handcrafted realities.

About Our Philosophy and People
Building a home with us is not just about the final structure. Our Goa and Magadi studios function as a single unit, where site managers and local craftsmen work alongside architects to ensure that every rammed earth wall or stone detail is executed with precision. Before we break ground, we spend time understanding the land’s specific topography and climate, which is why you will often find our team on-site reviewing how previous projects have aged and weathered over the years.
We believe that to be modern, we must be rooted. At Andagere Architects, our work is defined by the earth, stone, and wood we source from the land itself. Our studio in Magadi, 'Bande Thota', serves as our laboratory, where we experiment with rammed earth, laterite, and wattle-and-daub techniques.
Architecture is never a solo act. Our team is a multidisciplinary mix of architects and local craftsmen who are the true masters of their trade. When you step into our Goa studio, you see this blend in action: digital plans sitting next to physical material samples and handmade models.
We invite our clients into this process. Whether it is a luxury villa in Calangute or a quiet retreat in Corgao, the goal remains the same: creating a structure that sits lightly on the earth. We avoid rushed timelines in favor of slow, deliberate construction. By working with local artisans, we ensure that the finished space feels handmade, honest, and connected to its surroundings. This is how we ensure that our villas in Goa are not just houses, but spaces that respect the local climate and culture.
Andagere Architects
I am Ajith. Since 2002, I have been working with a team of architects and craftsmen to build homes that feel like they have always belonged to the landscape. We are not here to just construct buildings; we are here to foster a connection between the people who live in them and the land itself.
