This is the first collection a potential client will see. It’s curated to make a powerful first impression, showcasing my artistic range, technical skill, and the deep cultural and personal stories that drive my work. Each piece is chosen to capture attention and invite clients to explore more.
Spiritual & Divine Art
These paintings are my connection to our rich Indian heritage and spirituality. I create commissioned pieces of deities like Ganesha, Vitthal, and Shiva, often inspired by my family, ancient sculptures, and cultural festivals. Each artwork is a personal exploration of faith, rendered in watercolour, acrylic, or oil to bring the divine story to life.
The Stone Series
This is my unique series where I use watercolour on paper to create the illusion of ancient stone sculptures. Inspired by my visits to historical sites like Ellora and Hampi, I try to capture the texture, depth, and timeless energy of these carvings. This collection features deities, historical figures, and scenes from our cultural heritage.
Custom Portraits: Your Story on Canvas
I create custom portraits that capture the essence of a person or a special family moment. Working from photographs or live sittings, I use watercolour, oil, or acrylics to create a timeless piece of art. Whether it's a maternity portrait, a family picture, or a tribute to a loved one, I work closely with you to bring your story to life on canvas.
Faces of India: Character Studies
I am fascinated by the diverse faces and stories of people across India. This collection features portraits of sadhus, villagers, and everyday people I've encountered. Using watercolour, acrylic, and gouache, I aim to capture the character, emotion, and life etched into their faces, creating more than just a likeness.
Tributes in Paint
This collection is my tribute to the heroes and legends who have shaped our culture and history. From Maratha warriors like Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to freedom fighters and iconic artists, I create these paintings to honor their legacy. These pieces are often done in a conceptual style, blending portraiture with symbolic elements.
Landscapes of India
I love painting outdoors, or "en plein air," to capture the true spirit of a location. This collection features watercolour and oil landscapes from my travels across India, from the serene ghats of Varanasi and Pushkar to the rugged forts of Maharashtra. Each painting is an attempt to bottle the unique light, mood, and atmosphere of the scene.
Behind the Brush: Workshops & Live Demos
I believe in sharing my knowledge and passion for art. This gallery shows me in action during live demonstrations, workshops, and art camps across the country. From painting on a live news channel to conducting "en plein air" workshops and demonstrating portraiture for students, this is a glimpse into my process and my love for teaching.
In the Press: Awards & Exhibitions
I am grateful for the recognition my work has received over the years. This section showcases some of the awards, grants, news features, and exhibition announcements that mark the important milestones in my artistic journey. This recognition from esteemed foundations and the press is a great source of motivation.
The Art of Calligraphy
Before focusing on painting, my great passion was "akshar lekhan," or the art of lettering. My father, also an artist, was my first teacher. This collection showcases my work in Marathi calligraphy, a skill I return to with great joy. This piece was created for Gulmohar Day on a 15 foot paper roll.
Additional Works
This collection includes a variety of other works, from personal sketches and older pieces to professional announcements. It offers a broader look at my journey as an artist and my involvement in the art community.
