Spoken Word Poetry and Rap Performances
I bring Delhi's streets and stories to your stage. Through spoken word and rap, I talk about things that matter, from student struggles to the hustle of city life.
"Kaun party kaun neta, dekhi sabki imaandari hai." This is one of my most direct pieces, a Hindi spoken word performance about the systemic issues of unemployment and the struggles faced by students. I believe art must reflect reality, even when it's uncomfortable.
"Uttam kheti, madhyam baan..." A clip from my performance where I recite my poem on the plight of Indian farmers. As an artist, I feel a responsibility to give a voice to those who are often unheard in our society.
"Main meri hi kahani apni hi kalam se likh raha hoon." This piece is about forging your own destiny and not being bound by fate or societal expectations. It's a core theme in my work: the power of self-creation.
"I dream, I rise, I chase the way." A short visual from my daily poetry series. These are motivational verses meant to be a source of strength and a reminder that with a bold heart, any story can be told.
A tribute to the legendary Kedarnath Singh and his poem on Banaras. I often draw inspiration from the greats, exploring how they see the world and infusing their wisdom into my own perspective.
Exploring the soul of Banaras through poetry. The city is a poem in itself, half in water, half in prayer. My writing often reflects on places and their deeper meanings, finding stories in the fabric of a city.
About this collection
When I perform, I am not just reciting lines. I am starting a conversation. Whether it is an opener for a college fest or an extended headline set, my pieces are designed to break the silence on topics often ignored. For every booking, I take time to understand the event theme beforehand, whether it is a motivational session or a cultural gathering, to ensure my custom-written verses connect directly with the audience in the room.
My performances blend the grit of Delhi hip-hop culture with the introspection of modern Hindi poetry. I do not believe in performing pre-recorded sets without soul. I customize the storytelling based on the crowd, weaving in social commentary or motivation as needed.
What I Bring to the Stage
- Live Spoken Word & Shayari: I perform pieces that address real-world issues like education stress, social pressure, and urban struggles. It is raw, honest, and meant to make people think.
- Hindi-English Rap: High-energy verses that keep the crowd engaged. This is not just rhythm; it is storytelling using the language the youth speaks every day.
- Custom Content: For extended sets, I write specific verses for your event theme. Whether you need a tribute for a cultural day or a motivational kick-off for a seminar, I need only 72 hours notice to prepare something original.
Technical Basics
I keep things simple but effective. I work with backing tracks provided via USB or Aux. All I need is a reliable PA system with bass, one microphone with a stand, and a 4x4 ft clear stage area to move and connect with the audience. I handle my own sound check 15 minutes before the performance, so your event flow remains smooth. Whether you are hosting a college cultural event in South Delhi or a community gathering in the NCR region, I am there to make sure the message hits home.
