Seemantham & Baby Shower Decoration

Create a festive and devotional atmosphere for your baby shower or Seemantham. I specialize in traditional South Indian setups using fresh flowers, banana leaves, and classic fabric drapes.

A simple yet elegant floral arch of red roses creates a classic backdrop for a baby shower. The focus remains on the ornate central chair, making the mother-to-be the star of the ceremony.

This backdrop features a vibrant checkerboard pattern made from marigolds and other traditional flowers. A central portrait of Yashoda and Krishna adds a divine touch, perfect for a Seemantham ceremony.

For outdoor Seemantham ceremonies, I design open-air mandapams like this one. The structure is draped in dense floral arrangements and hanging garlands, creating a breathtaking stage amidst nature.

This Haldi-themed baby shower decor combines bright yellow marigolds with green fabric and intricate white floral patterns. The ornate sofa provides comfortable and regal seating for the main ceremony.

A classic Seemantham setup featuring a backdrop of woven banana leaves and marigold garlands. The mother and child silhouette cutout adds a personal and modern touch to the traditional decor.

This full-stage view shows a beautiful floral wall with a yellow and white chevron pattern. The design includes traditional cow motifs and a decorated cradle, making it suitable for a combined Seemantham and naming ceremony.

About this collection

I personally source fresh marigolds and jasmine from the local market, as the quality of the flowers defines the look of your backdrop. Whether you choose a compact 8x8 ft setup for a home ceremony or a larger 16 ft banquet wall, I make sure the banana leaf placements and floral borders look crisp and traditional.

Tradition means different things to different families, which is why I offer flexible setups. For a home-based Seemantham, my 8x8 ft packages utilize fresh banana leaves and satin drapes to transform your living room into a devotional space without overcrowding it. If you are booking a banquet hall, I scale up to 16 ft floral walls using dense packing of Chrysanthemums, Marigolds, and Tuberose.

Every setup includes the essentials that matter most for the ritual, like brass lamps and ornate seating for the mother-to-be. If you want to include a Thottil (cradle) for a combined naming ceremony, I customize the cradle decoration with heavy floral tassels and fabric that matches your backdrop.

I do not use artificial fillers unless requested. My focus is on the authentic scent and look of real flowers. From the entrance welcome board to the artistic fruit plate decorations, I manage the setup personally to ensure it meets the standard I set for my own events. If you have specific motifs in mind, like traditional cow or peacock designs, let me know when we discuss your date.
