Authentic Traditional Event Decoration
I plan everything myself, from the welcome board to the main stage. Whether it is a Seemantham, naming ceremony, or pooja, I create a festive and devotional atmosphere using fresh flowers and classic South Indian designs.
This is my signature South Indian Seemantham setup. I use fresh banana leaves for that lush green backdrop, complemented by hanging garlands of jasmine and tuberose, and traditional brass lamps to create a sacred, festive glow for your baby shower.
For a naming ceremony, the thottil (cradle) is the heart of the event. I adorn it with intricate floral arrangements, like these jasmine and lotus bud garlands on an ornate silver cradle, making it a beautiful centerpiece for welcoming your little one.
I can create grand, artistic floral backdrops for any occasion. This large lotus design, made entirely of fresh flowers in vibrant colors, provides a stunning and memorable stage for a Seemantham or engagement ceremony.
A Haldi ceremony is all about vibrant yellows and joyful celebration. I design classic Haldi stages using walls of fresh marigolds and traditional brass urlis, creating the perfect sun-kissed setting for your pre-wedding rituals.
Welcome your guests in true traditional style with a grand entrance chapara. I construct these elaborate archways using hand-woven coconut leaves and fresh flower garlands, creating an unforgettable first impression for a housewarming or wedding.
While I specialize in traditional decor, I also love playing with color. This video shows a vibrant, multi-hued floral setup for a Mehendi ceremony, blending modern color palettes with classic floral arch designs for a unique look.
The details are what make a decoration truly special. This close-up shows the delicate craftsmanship of jasmine, rose, and lotus bud garlands I create by hand to adorn a naming ceremony cradle, ensuring every element is perfect.
I bring the same care and tradition to housewarming ceremonies. This video showcases a complete setup, from the beautifully decorated pooja room entrance to the elegant floral arrangements in the main hall, creating a blessed atmosphere for your new home.
I offer a variety of backdrop styles to suit your taste. This popular checkered panel design, made with woven fabrics and accented with traditional brass bells, adds a unique texture and rhythm to the stage for a baby shower or naming ceremony.
This video gives you a glimpse behind the scenes. You can see my team and I bringing a vision to life, from arranging fresh banana leaves to the final placement of flowers, showing the hard work and precision that goes into every event.
About Featured
I personally source fresh malli and marigolds from the Bengaluru market for every event, ensuring your decor stays vibrant and fragrant throughout the function. When I set up a banana leaf backdrop, I staple every leaf flat and align the textures to create that deep, authentic green contrast that makes the traditional brass lamps pop.
My Approach to Traditional Decor
Event decoration is not just work for me, it is heart. My style is rooted in South Indian traditions, focusing on elements that bring a sense of purity to your home or hall. I believe the best setups do not need to be over-complicated or expensive. It is about using the right materials—real banana leaves, fresh jasmine, and brass lamps—to build a space where rituals feel special.
What I Bring to Your Event
- Seemantham & Baby Showers: I specialize in grand floral backdrops. I use checkered fabric patterns or dense foliage walls to create a perfect photo setting for the mother-to-be.
- Naming Ceremonies: The thottil (cradle) is the heart of the event. I decorate it with hand-woven strings of jasmine and lotus buds, keeping the focus on the baby’s comfort while ensuring the setting looks festive.
- Haldi & Pre-Wedding: For Haldi, I focus on 'sun-kissed' yellow themes using marigold walls and traditional urlis filled with floating petals.
- Entrance Decor: Your first impression matters. I build elaborate chaparas (arches) using coconut leaves and fresh flowers to welcome your guests properly.
Working with Me
I handle the planning from start to finish. You do not have to worry about the logistics of sourcing flowers or setting up the structure. I come with my team, manage the installation, and ensure everything is clean and ready before your guests arrive. Whether you are planning a simple pooja in a flat in Sarjapura or a larger celebration in a banquet hall, I work with you to make it happen without any drama.
