I set up traditional thottil (cradles) and floral backdrops using fresh, fragrant flowers to create a sacred and welcoming space for your baby’s big day.

About this collection

For naming ceremonies, I personally source fresh jasmine and lotus buds on the morning of your event. Because I do not use standard, mass-produced frames, I can adjust the cradle garlands and color themes to perfectly match the layout of your home or banquet hall.

The thottil is the heart of the naming ceremony. It needs to be sturdy, safe, and beautifully decorated to hold the focus of the event. I use antique-finish silver or gold cradles and wrap them in dense strings of fresh flowers that add a natural, calming fragrance to the room. My setups focus on the cradle as the primary centerpiece, supported by a themed backdrop that ties the entire stage area together.

Whether you want a traditional banana leaf and marigold setup for a classic look, or a modern, dense rose-and-jasmine wall, I design it to fit your available space. I also include custom touches like baby name cutouts, traditional motifs like the lotus or Namam, and brass oil lamps that create a soft, sacred glow during the naming rituals. If you have a specific color palette or a favorite flower preference, let me know during our first call, and I will tailor the design to suit your vision without any unnecessary fuss.
