The Streets of Delhi: Candid Stories
I capture the unfiltered pulse of Delhi. No staging, no artificial lighting—just real life, spontaneous expressions, and the city as our backdrop.
Another shot from our impromptu session at India Gate. The setting sun created a beautiful backlight, adding a cool, stylish vibe to this candid street portrait.
The iconic "Main Hoon Na" pose at Kartavya Path. This is a perfect example of a fun, unposed moment that captures a person's personality and the energy of the location.
A heartwarming candid of a father and son enjoying a toy bike ride at India Gate. I love capturing these simple, joyful family moments that happen every day.
A dancer lost in his performance in a park near India Gate. Capturing artists in their element results in such expressive and powerful street portraits.
I find it fascinating to photograph other people taking photos. This silhouette shot captures a moment of shared creativity against the evening lights at India Gate.
A genuine smile captured in the middle of a crowded Lajpat Nagar market. My street photography is about finding these fleeting, happy moments amidst the chaos.
This woman looked directly at my camera for a split second in the busy market. That brief connection can make for a powerful and engaging street portrait.
A child sleeping peacefully on her father's shoulder after a long day of shopping. It's a tender, universal moment that tells a quiet story.
A candid portrait of a man in a turban, framed by the lemons of a street food cart in Lajpat Nagar. Using foreground elements adds depth and context to street shots.
The curious and direct gaze of this young boy caught my attention. Kids often have the most honest expressions, making them great subjects for candid photography.
About The Streets of Delhi: Candid Stories
I don't use artificial lights or force stiff poses. Whether we are shooting in the bustle of Lajpat Nagar or the quiet corners of India Gate, my goal is to capture you being yourself. Think of it as a casual walk with a friend who happens to carry a camera, rather than a formal photo session.
My Approach to Street Photography
I believe the best photos happen when you forget the camera is even there. My style is rooted in natural light photography. I use my Sony A6100 with a prime lens to get that soft background blur, which makes the subject pop without looking artificial or over-processed.
Why I Love Shooting in Delhi
Delhi is my playground. From the colorful chaos of Lajpat Nagar markets to the quiet, moody corridors of Red Fort or the open spaces at India Gate, the city offers endless stories. I look for the small details that others miss—a shopkeeper catching a break, a shared smile in a crowd, or the way the light hits a street stall at golden hour.
What to Expect
If you book a session with me, forget about 'saying cheese' or awkward standing poses. We will just walk, talk, and joke around. If you are comfortable, the photos will be good—it is that simple.
A Note on Realism
Because I am balancing MBA studies with my photography, I am not the fastest photographer in town. If you need a 24-hour turnaround, I am probably not the right fit. I prefer taking my time to edit properly in Lightroom so you get shots that actually feel like you, without plastic skin textures or fake filters. If you are cool with the wait, I promise you will get memories that feel real.
